The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce is the largest bi-national chamberin India with over 6,500 member organizations. These are large and mid-size German and Indian companies involved in trade and business. IGTC serves as a common platfrom to meet the growing requirements of executives /managerial talent of the member IGCC companies.

In order to do so, IGTC cnducts an exclusive 18-months, full-time Business Management Program based on the German Dual System. Through this program member companies adopt a student as a trainee for sic months of practicle traning with their organizatin, while he/she completes one year of theoretical studies at the training centre. During this tenure, the trainee is appraised by his/her assigned traning cvompany for final recruitment.

IGTC Rocks!!

We kick start this blog on a very high note ..and I mean it. We are in a form of hysteria here at the institute as we ride high on our recent conquest. The reason for all this hoopla is we have been adjudged the Champions of Chakravyuh 2007, swooping nearly all the awards in most of the events that we participated.

A little Gk about the event, it is an annual management event organised by Lala's Institute of Management, Haji Ali. There were about 34 management colleges participating in host of events ranging from business, marketing, sports to cultural with all the normal nitty gritties of a management event.

There was some serious shoulder rubbing, whining, dancing action in the LAL's Audi as our future managers let their hair down.

Needless to say we at IGTC have a fine mixture of cultural and academics. This is just the begining, we are looking forward to participating in more events and hopefullly more championships:). Its a pleasure to be living this IGTC experience!!!!!
